24 August 2022 - E-Blast Announcement
The Annual Membership Meeting notice and packets are being prepared for mail out within the next couple of weeks. According to our Restrictive Covenants, the election will be a closed ballot and only candidates on the ballot may be voted for. Each member may vote for up to 5 candidates for the 5 eligible board positions. We will continue to accept candidate applications until 4:00 pm, Friday, August 26, 2022. If you are interested in participating on the Board, please submit a brief bio (100 words or less) describing your interests. Please email your bio to the Gmail Account.
18 February 2022 - Board update
Gate Update - The board is asking the Gate Committee to work with our Vendor and pursue updates to the control systems which would include the option for Gate controllers in addition to the Key pad. More information will be coming from the Gate Committee.
All agreed to continue our current relationship with our Landscape company, Buck Lawn Care. They are open to visiting your lot for a small fee on a regular basis to keep you road frontage trimmed and neat… more information on that as we receive it.
Mike Evensen will begin to do some work on the culverts that are in need of repair. Please be on the lookout for thier workers and trucks along some of the blind curves and roadways.
We are planning on a community meeting to get together in person and discuss our community, it’s future, and the best path to get there. Looking at sometime in late April. We will work on a formal date once the transition has been made official, so we don’t have to cancel or postpone, should the need arise.
Congratulations to Eric Young, Dawn Becker, and Mike Henning! Eric will be serving as our new Board President, Dawn as Secretary, and Mike as Treasurer.
10 February 2022 - A message From Cooley’s Rift newly-elected Board of Directors
Good morning, Rifters!
Although we are not officially the board of directors, yet, the newly-elected board wants to let you know that we are actively preparing to become the official board as soon as possible...hopefully in March, as indicated by Wesley Hughes of Woodland Capital in the special community meeting on January 25th. In the meantime, we would like to encourage community members to visit www.cooleysrift.net to review important information and documents about the community. This site is very navigable, it is where HOA updates will be communicated as changes are made by the new board.
The new board members all met one week ago, and we will meet again next Friday to continue structuring the new board, and planning for some specific actions/improvements that we think are urgent. We have already hit the ground jogging and are ready to start running full stride, ASAP! Exciting times, we look forward to working with you and for you, the Cooley’s Rift Community, in 2022.
